Natural Sea water sourced off the Dorset coast line from a deep water supply line...
NSW in the U.K. is collected 3 miles off the South Coast near Dorset. It is taken from the sea bed and as most pollutants tend to float, it is deemed to be the safest place to harvest NSW. If there were any concerns over pollution or microbial content, it would not be used by these giant companies.
Once collected, NSW is pumped onto a tanker lorry and transported around the country.
How is it Stored?
Unlike Artificial Sea Water, natural seawater can be stored for months. Aquarium connections in London have performed many hundreds of ICP Water Tests (A Laboratory-grade test that analyse the content of 35 different elements in seawater) on NSW and found no degradation or change over time.
The Triton method
Without going into too much detail at this stage, the triton method was developed by and for people who don’t like doing water changes. Aquariums run on the triton method can go years without water changes, and so in developing this method, they wanted to put the best water in from day one. They recommend the use of NSW when employing the triton method.
We now hold 28,0000 litres of fresh natural sea water sourced from the clean waters of the South coast of the UK.. We deliver using our own transport within a 50 mile radius of Sheffield or can ship out using a courier service which will incur higher charges due to the barrels having to be shipped with your order...
We can deliver the water in 1000 litre IBC containers and the water is pumped into your aquarium or water vessel... We can pump upto a distance 75 metres approx with our powerful 40,000 litres an hour pump to quickly fill your aquarium ... The water arrives un-heated..
Most of our customers call into our store with typically 25 litre water barrels which you can also purchase from us at the time of your order.
We can also add RO Water on your order and deliver at the same time just drop us a message if you wish to add to this..
Delivered by courier:1-3 days normally next day.
Your order and delivery cost includes the following.
2 x Barrels 10 litres yours to keep
2 x NSW 10 litres (barrels filled to weight 20 kilo total which is approx 20 litres)
Delivery to your door by over night courier but please allow upto 48 hours
